Hit the Texas roads 'arunnin' last week. Back from Norway on Tuesday and been playing ever since. We've added two new venues to our base - a big thanks to everyone who caught us at RC's in Granbury (way cool venue and awesome people) and at Shenanigans in Huntsville (2 clubs in one - can't beat it). Started production on the new CD at our new studio - Redbone Studios. You'll be hearing more about it as we progress.

Update from Norway....
Incredible scenery, incredible people and one incredible experience. The fans here are so awesome. How can you not love people who love Texas Honky-Tonk!!!! Remember the movie "Heidi"? We keep expecting her to come skipping around the street corner. There's snow everywhere and it's cold, but who cares. We're having a great time, but can't wait to get home to chicken fried steak and gravy. Food's good, but it ain't mama's!!! The people here have been great, and we're really going to miss 'em, but we can't wait to get home at the same time. Looking forward to seeing ya'll on Wednesday. Missin' your faces!

The Save DJ Burlap was a major success!!! There is no way to thank everybody who participated, performed or attended. For anybody not there, you not only missed a chance to help with a really good cause, a concert of a life-time but one huge time. The Texas Music Family is one awesome group and we are so thankful to be involved with this group of people. We can't think of any industry in this day and age that pulls together so tightly to help when help is needed.

We encourage everyone to come out for the "Save DJ Burlap" benefit concert for Steve Berg on Sunday, February 12th. Info can be found on our web-site. Been a good week, having a great time on our "Honky-Tonk Hump Day" Wednesdays at Love & War.
Saturday was rockin' at Hanks in McKinney - Tonya's benefit was a huge success. Cameron is now a huge star! It was good to see so many family and friends. The studio should be up and running by this week. Looks like we'll be recording that new album real soon. 'nough Ramblin' On, see ya down the road.

Luchenbach was an experience of a life-time. We road tripped it down on Thursday and had two incredible days of music. This is going to be a must have CD when it's released! As soon as we hear when it's coming out, we'll let ya'll know. Thanks to everybody who entered the lottery for tickets and joined us. A weekend like that will never happen again.

Had a blast with ya'll at The White Elephant Saturday night. Cowtown is always fun, but what a weekend when the stock show is going on. Thanks to G'ma groupie #1 and Toll-man for helping us out this weekend.

This week was much better! Thank goodness the weather worked with us instead of against us. Finally got back to Love & War, sure is nice to be home again! Had a great time at the Lonestar (as usual) and then down the road to The Armadillo Palace in Houston. Good food and a great time.

Want to tell Steve-O congratulations - he's gonna be a grandpa (again!) Must be something in the water. I think this makes 5 or is it 6. Somebody needs to talk to them kids.

Not much to talk about this week, the weather really knocked us out of the loop last week on gigs. Just found out about the Palo Duro/Luckenbach live recording in January. This is going to be one kickin' concert. Will be sending out details soon, you can check it out on the web-site. This year is starting to come to a close, can ya'll believe it's almost over!! Hey everybody,

Been a really great week, lots of traveling and played a new venue, Backroads Bar & Grill in Brownwood, TX. Saw some old friends (Good seeing ya' Don & Linda), and also made some new ones. Things are looking good for the new CD. Will be going into the studio in January. Want to wish Wendy & Burt a happy anniversary! Burt - you're a lucky man. Happy birthday to Linnie.
